Policy
MoibleVoiceControl respects your personal data. To that end, MVC intends to
maintain privacy and confidentiality within its obligation to the laws
governing the state of Ohio and Deleware. We utilize your billing and device
information only to perform the appropriate tasks that you have authorized per
the Terms of Service. If we don't maintain your confidentiality, we will not be
able to keep you as a customer and as a customer, you are our most important
asset.
1.
Personal Device
Information
MVC retrieves pertinent information from your device for purposes of setting up
your account and maintaining appropriate billing information. This information
includes your name, billing address, email address, the last four digits of
your credit card, and your device PIN.
2.
Address
Book Names
Your device contains a great deal of personal and business information. We
gather address book names and build speech recognition grammars pertinent to
your list of contacts. These names are not visibly associated with the user.
The recognition is done in a "blind" state. Additionally, no correlation
between names and users is exposed in the system database. To that end, it is
not possible to map this information without the use of the device and the
users voice performing a request for recognition. Also, MVC does not maintain
any phone numbers, addresses, email addresses or any other information from the
users address book.
3.
Dictated
Messages
While speech recognition is
an automated process, human intervention for purposes of review and bettering
the speech engine can ocurr. MVC maintains the audio data for a period of two
days on the system and can review system files and command requests and
responses. This is to help better the system recognition when poor recognition
results ocurr. This is one of the many ways we separate our service from other
voice dialer systems. We provide a service. If in the event you do not want any
person to ever hear a particular message, please do not use the system for
those messages.
When performing reply, reply all and forward messages, the text from those
messages are never moved to MVC. The data, as all data, resides on the device.
This means that we perform speech recognition and then immediately move all
data back to the Handheld device for the tasks to be performed.
4.
Confidentiality
MVC limits access to your personal information to those staff members who need
this information to provide you with the best customer service possible. From
time to time, we deem it appropriate for support personel to email users with
update information or new feature information. However, your information is not
used or sold for purposes of third party companies sending you solicitations.
